It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of one of our founding members, Lion.

Lion was not only an amazing person but also a gifted musician, and artist who had the ability to see beauty in everything. His eye for finding the best vintage piece was unparalleled.

Lion’s presence in Weekenders will be forever missed. He brought a unique energy and passion that inspired us all. His love for vintage treasures was infectious, and he had a knack for finding hidden gems that would bring joy to anyone who laid eyes on them.

Beyond his talent for curating our collection, Lion was a husband, a father and dear friend to many. His warm smile and kind heart made him a beloved member of our community. He had a way of making every interaction special, a full zest of life, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

As we mourn the loss of Lion, we find solace in the memories we shared and the laughter we experienced together. We will forever cherish those moments and hold them close to our hearts. Lion’s spirit will continue to live on in Weekenders through pieces he handpicked, connections made, the joy he brought to customers with his vast knowledge of Mid-Century and of course his eclectic taste in music.
